Lengd kennslustunda

  • Ein kennslustund samkvæmt námskrá er skilgreind sem 45 mínútur.

  • Í hverjum tíma er almennt kennt rúmlega ein kennslustund samkvæmt námskrá, en raunlengd einstakra tíma getur verið breytileg.

  • Aðalmarkmiðið er að nemandinn uppfylli að lágmarki þær kröfur um heildarfjölda mínútna sem settar eru samkvæmt reglum um ökunám.

  • Námið snýst því ekki um fjölda skipta sem nemandinn mætir, heldur um að tryggja að lágmarksfjöldi mínútna sé uppfylltur.

  • Ökutímar á höfuðborgarsvæðinu hefjast í Mjóddinni og lýkur á sama stað.

  • Ökutímar á Suðurnesjum hefjast í Keflavík og lýkur á sama stað.

Greiðslufyrirkomulag

  • Kennslustundir eru skráðar jafnóðum.

  • Gefinn er út greiðsluseðill eftir hver tvö skipti, sem nær yfir þá kennslu sem farið hefur fram.

  • Upphæð greiðsluseðils fer eftir heildarfjölda mínútna sem kenndar voru í viðkomandi tímum, ekki fjölda skipta. Greiðsluseðillinn er sendur í heimabanka og 390 kr. tilkynningargjald bætist við upphæðina

Afbókanir og mæting

  • Ef nemandi afpantar með 24 klst. fyrirvara eða meira, er ekki rukkað.

  • Ef afbókun berst 12–24 klst. fyrir tímann, er rukkað hálft gjald.

  • Ef afbókun berst með minna en 12 klst. fyrirvara eða ef nemandi mætir ekki („no show“) er rukkað fullt gjald.

  • Nemendur eru beðnir um að láta vita ef þeir eru veikir eða finna til flensueinkenna svo hægt sé að endurbóka ökutímann.

Almennt

  • Þessar reglur eru algengar meðal ökukennara og í mörgum öðrum þjónustugreinum.

Terms and Payments:
 

Duration of lessons

  • One academic lesson according to the official curriculum is defined as 45 minutes.

  • In each session, generally more than one academic lesson is taught, although the actual duration of individual sessions may vary.

  • The main objective is that the student completes at least the minimum required total minutes set out in the official driver training regulations.

  • The training is therefore not measured by the number of times the student attends, but by the total number of minutes completed.

  • Driving lessons in the capital area start in Mjóddin and end at the same location.

  • Driving lessons in the Suðurnes region start in Keflavík and end at the same location.

Payment arrangements

  • Lessons are recorded immediately after they take place.

  • An invoice is issued after every two sessions, covering the teaching that has been provided.

  • The amount of the invoice depends on the total number of minutes taught in those sessions, not on the number of times attended. The invoice is sent to the student’s online bank, and a notification fee of 390 ISK is added to the total amount.

Cancellations and attendance

  • If a student cancels with 24 hours’ notice or more, no fee is charged.

  • If cancellation is made 12–24 hours in advance, half of the fee is charged.

  • If cancellation is made with less than 12 hours’ notice, or if the student does not attend (“no show”), the full fee is charged.

  • Students are asked to notify if they are ill or have flu-like symptoms, so the driving lesson can be rescheduled.

General

  • These rules are very common among driving instructors and in many other professional services.

  • By registering for the course, the student accepts these conditions.

Duración de las clases

  • Una clase académica oficial está definida como 45 minutos.

  • En cada sesión generalmente se enseña más de una clase académica, aunque la duración real de cada clase puede variar.

  • El objetivo principal es que el alumno cumpla como mínimo con los requisitos de tiempo total establecidos por la normativa de formación de conductores.

  • La formación no se mide por el número de veces que el alumno asiste, sino por el total de minutos acumulados.

  • Las clases prácticas en el área metropolitana comienzan en Mjóddin y terminan en el mismo lugar.

  • Las clases prácticas en la región de Suðurnes comienzan en Keflavík y terminan en el mismo lugar.

Forma de pago

  • Las clases se registran inmediatamente después de impartirse.

  • Se emite una factura después de cada dos sesiones, que cubre la enseñanza impartida en esos turnos.

  • El monto de la factura depende del total de minutos enseñados en esas sesiones, no del número de veces. La factura se envía al banco en línea del alumno y se añade una tasa de notificación de 390 ISK al monto total.

Cancelaciones y asistencia

  • Si el alumno cancela con 24 horas o más de antelación, no se cobra nada.

  • Si la cancelación se hace con 12–24 horas de antelación, se cobra el 50 % del valor de la clase.

  • Si la cancelación se hace con menos de 12 horas de antelación o el alumno no se presenta (“no show”), se cobra el 100 % del valor de la clase.

  • ​Se pide a los alumnos que informen si están enfermos o presentan síntomas de gripe, para poder reprogramar la clase de conducción.

General

  • Estas reglas son muy comunes, tanto entre instructores de conducción como en muchos otros servicios profesionales.

  • Al inscribirse en el curso, el alumno acepta estas condiciones.
