Certified driving instructor - license no. 1921

My name is Róbert Sigurðarson and I am a certified driving instructor, having completed my instructor training at the Continuing Education Centre of the University of Iceland. I live in Keflavík and offer driving instruction in the Reykjanesbær area, as well as in the capital region upon request.

Today, I work full-time as a driving instructor. Before that, I served as a police officer for nearly 30 years, where traffic-related matters formed a significant part of my work. During that time, I gained extensive experience and expertise in traffic safety, road regulations, and the responsibilities that come with being a driver. This background allows me to provide my students with practical instruction based not only on theory but also on many years of real-world experience.

In addition, I hold a BA degree in Spanish and an MA degree in Translation Studies from the University of Iceland, and I have worked as an interpreter and translator between Spanish and Icelandic. This enables me to offer driving instruction to Spanish-speaking individuals in their own native language.
